Java Zons---Good PvP?

Ive Made Java Zons in 09 but can they be good pvp in 1.10? i mean they can take close fights because of amazing charged strike, but im not sure about fast tele casters such as necs, sorcs could somebody post a good guide? ive seen some but alot arent very smart. i had good gear so u can post the best gear for 1. Thnx:)

They can, infact, be good at PvP. Like you said, you'd just have to worry about teleporting casters. I'm not experienced as far as Javazons go, but I'll give it a shot.

Gear:
Helm - Nice circlet, Shako, or CoA would be good choices, a good Griffon's Eye if you can get it - Socket with a Cham if you don't want to wear a Ravenfrost
Weapon - You guessed it! Ethereal good quality Titan's
Shield - I've seen some use a Lidless, but Sanctuary or SS would work well
Armor - CoH or Enigma, Enigma provides tele and run/walk for caster killing
Belt - Dungo's or Arachnid's Mesh
Gloves - Rare +2 Javalin skill gloves can be sweet, I have some myself with +2/IAS/AR/Dex/Life
Boots - I'm not really sure here, Waterwalks, Treks, and Gores are good choices
Rings - SoJ/BK/Ravenfrost here, I like the Ravenfrost because A.) You don't need to get a Cham B.) AR bonus C.) Dexterity D.) Cold absorbtion E.) Duh! - Cannot be frozen
Amulet - A good rare always works, Mara's also works also, maybe

The gear choices mainly depend on if you want to be pure lightning or concentrate on physical damage.

Throw me a rep. point if I helped you out any, I've wrote tons of these guides for people. :*) On that note, somebody give Keitaro some rep. points. He's always handing out guides to people. I know he's going to be in this thread soon.

i disagree with medicine, hes kinda building his zon like a caster when i like to build them more like a barb:

helm: Perf gaze, .08 perf gaze, or griffons (although my zon uses P gaze when i have many griffons i just dislike griffon) cham your helm if you dont use ravenfrost
wepon: eth uped titans
armor: enigma
rings: a ravenfrost and a duel leech ring, or 2 duel leech rings if u have a cham (definatly do not use sojs!)
amulet: mine uses atmas for the amp somthing like imp brow would work also
gloves: Draculs or those uneqe battle gloves that add enchant, i find it very handy becouse it almost doubles your atack also 3 to java skills rare gloves that add other stuff like ias are good too
boots: gores or eth treks
shield: stormshiled
cta with lidless on switch
belt: tgods

build number 2:
Griffon or gaze with cham in it
160/60 armor
stealrends
angelics amulet and 2 angelic rings
stormshield
gores
tgods
cta and lidless on switch
eth uped titans

this build will get you more physical damige and accuracy but you may be slower or have less life and have to give up telly

I just heard from a friend that lightning facets dont work in the java lightning skills, even though it does show. Am not sure about that, but i hold a hand on him cause he has good knowledge and played for 5 years(or so he says).

Lidless Wall

Inventory:
1 Annilus
9x 5% resist all, 20 life
10x java skillers with 12% FHR untill you reach "Breakpoint", and 35-40 life after that.

Skills:
20 Charged Strike (Main Attack)
20 Lightning Fury (When batteling Summoners and monsters)
?? Dodge untill you reach 60% with all items
?? Avoid untill you reach 70% with all items
01 in Critical strike, Slow missile, Evade
Rest in Power Strike at the end.

Tahu... YUCK! This is for a GOOD PvP character. Physical damage Zons are no good, that's why I suggested all the gear I did because the best PvP Zons are CS/LF Zons... or a lightning Zon, same thing.

Leech does practically NOTHING in PvP, so screw leeching items. Chance to cast items are useless for a good javalin PvP Zon. 1 CS with the setup I suggested = DEATH for anybody, but Wind Druids are tough. So if you can kill the enemy in minimal hits, what's the use in having chance to cast items? Oh, and there is no such thing as a +3 Javalin glove.

javazons are alright for pvp.. one i fought had a killer attack but then again i havent dueled using my barb for a while.

That is really to bad for you. I dont need you to know it for it to be true.
Btw, if you dont trust me, i bought about 5x 3+ java gloves, and 1 of them with 20% IAS.
