I love Shires, absolutely beautiful horses... We had a mini x shetty once, as a companion pony for my mare. Her name was Lulu and she was the cheekiest little bugger... Good fun though.

Touching Red Rum is quite an achievement! Although I doubt many over here have heard of him. One thing that gets me about him, is that he lived to thirty years old. For a racehorse, that is a true milestone!
