this shit is probably really old, but i just got back on here so:
barb with crazy life = OWs / Lots of Mana / Lots of Def.
don't underestimate OWs, when grief doesnt work for raw dmg (yes Crimson, grief is by far best BvB weapon out there), go either Fury or 4/5 Um Zerker (w/e max would be) with a shael or 2 in it. Also have used Eth Up'd zod Toothrow which has been sexy.
personally, i always go ar/life gcs and scs. with this and an either OWs or grief setup you should have no problems.
