Just pointing out that this guide is pre-1.11, so keep in mind the new runewords, etc, and especially the fact that merc now level a lot faster (it was a proper nuisance to level them before 1.11, as you had to go to the area corresponding to their level).

Other than that, this is a good guide. May be stating the obvious quite often, but should be a definate read for newbs.
