J-ci, i have the same problem as in your 2nd question and I have yet to figure it out, but i believe it has something to do with getting more sockets in your items and having lots and lost of charms in your inventory. The charms seem to be a huge part of it, note that you should use a small charm and not overload them or the game will encounter errors when you try to load your character. only use like 15 of the magic slots but make wise choices of the magic you use.
