| I never said conviction worked with poison, what I said is that if a monster has 2 resists and the first one is not poison, and the second is infinity is useful.
I will say again lower resist only gets rid of the first resist from experience therefore if you did it on a monster with stats like the above, the monster would be immune to poison still, however with infinity, infinity would get rid of the first one (since its either fire, cold or light immune) and then lower resist would get rid of the poison.
