Well now that we have Warden... i can understand people saying that they are getting banned from having Firewalls, Anti-Virus or anyother kinda network protection up... from what i know of Warden, its a fairly lame program.. it just scans all applicable D2 proccess, detects for unknown intrustions, stops or misc. files.. and then reports back to Blizz. now the true question is this; is blizz's banning system directly tied to Warden... if there is no person there to oversee Warden's Operations.. then maybe Warden automaticly puts you on the to be banned list if it detects any indescrepensies in your D2 operations.. therefore, if you where running a good Anti-Virus or Firewall that has a port scanner, everytime traffic is deteted to a program. files are put inplace to monitor that traffic.. this could be easily detected by Warden, as they are just simple .exe.dll's.... so i do understand where these people are saying they are getting banned from AV clients / firewalls... but as far as the bot.. its safe... and d2 loader is still a whole'nother topic, that we wont cover in this particular thread
